Michael Reck is a lead vocalist, bassist, guitarist and songwriter who started out as a radio DJ and radio program director. He has worked in Radio in Phoenix, AZ and throughout Northern Arizona. Mike enjoys all kinds of music, although Metal and Industrial are his all-time favorites. Mike enjoys the art of cinema and is a self-described, “totally crazy ass movie buff”… Mike loves live shows and performing the unique, original songs that Latency are known for… A perfect mix of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. Mike has worked in many roles, as songwriter, guitarist and lead vocalist with Latency since 2009. His focus is on collaborating with the band on writing and recording original music.
Chris Cornell
Bass & Vocals
Chris Cornell has provided his skills on Bass Guitar with the Phoenix Hard Rock / Metal Band Latency since 2011. Chris’ heavy bass lines on his 5 string Schecter Bass guitars, are the backbone of Latency’s hard rock and heavy metal signature sound.
When it comes to Hard Rock & Heavy Metal songs that make you want to get up and head bang, Chris is truly a powerhouse Bass player. Chris has offered his unique talents to Phoenix Band Latency, and has been a regular contributor to the local Phoenix Music Scene since 2011.
Jeremy Dasher
Rhythm & Lead Guitar
Jeremy Dasher is a former Sergeant with the US Army 2003-2010 specializing with the 1-1 ADA ( Air Defense Artillery) from 2006-2008. Jeremy brings his leadership skills, discipline and guitar genius / musicianship to Latency, one of Phoenix Premiere Hard Rock / Metal Bands. Jeremy completed his studies at Scottsdale Community College (SCC), graduating in 2011. Jeremy is endorsed by Bad Boy Guitars. He is a founding member of Latency, acting as songwriter, and lead/rhythm guitarist. since 2012. Jeremy has also toured as lead guitarist with local Phoenix premiere Metal band, ‘Empire of Dezire’ since Sept. 2017, and he has provided his heavy metal shred guitar skills to Viertel, a local Phoenix Metal Band since Jan. 2019.
Chris Bell
Drums & Percussion
Chris Bell is an experienced Hard Rock / Heavy Metal Drummer that can play complex rhythms to almost any kind of music. When it comes to Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, Chris’ fast patterns and fills are just one aspect of his tremendous technique. Chris has contributed on several projects in the local Phoenix Music Scene, and is well known since offering his unique talents to Latency. Chris uses Tama Drums, Gibraltar Percussion Hardware & Sabian Cymbals. Chris studied music at Glendale Community College in 1999 and has been providing kit bashing, hard rock grooves with Latency since April 2011.
